Have you ever filled a bucket to the brim and then try to transport it to another location? What happens? The water sloshes out and spills out everywhere it goes.
Jesus
said "If anyone thirsts, let him
come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the
depths of anyone who believes in me this way, just as the Scripture
says." John 7:38 The Message
Isn’t
that amazing? When you receive Christ as
your Savior, you are filled to the brim with living water and it spills out of
you onto others around you. As you
continue to thirst for Christ this water can help, comfort, encourage and
benefit those around you. If you are not
thirsting and drinking and being continually filled then how can you share with
those around you?
We are
living in a dry parched land but Jesus offers living water for those who are
thirsty. Are you thirsty for the water
of life? Are you spilling out to those
around you? Come to the water and get
refreshment for your soul and you can make a splash!
“Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the
water of life.” Revelation
22:17 NLT
